In case you have been living under a rock, today’s the day that we are kept in the dark from what is truly going on. It has taken us a long time to get here as we sit in silence, waiting for the truth to be revealed. And, we have no idea how supercharged things will become when it shows itself again from its perihelion in a few days. Some say it has intelligent design, conscious intent, traveling thousands of miles and years to make this visit. So, now’s the time that we need to show our celestial brother that we have the maturity and moral responsibility to receive its message.
Now, who knows what the heck 3I Atlas is doing here. But, we are prepared to send it a message of sophisticated beats with Birdynismus 3. Birdy Sanjazz is a German beatmaker from Karlsruhe and he may be more prepared that any to make contact with his new work. “Sit back, don’t let it fly right past you,” Birdy warns us on Rombabababumm. He is right! We need to pay attention to his message and not lose sight of what is going on. I mean, how often does something like this happen? A solid release from start to finish hits the airways at just the right time as this interstellar object decides to pick our solar system for a close up inspection.
This release is full of mashups and cuts of intelligent design. Birdy does an awesome job of layering in rhythmic beats, historical samples, atmospherics, and just the right level of scratches to show how far we have come as a species. Each track lends a different message of creativity and education for our visitor. From the untold story of the mysterious dark underworld on Other World (Interlude), to his taxonomic reveal of his nighttime bestie on Tyto Alma, the Birdy proves he has prepared well for this moment in time. Let’s just hope Kamikaze doesn’t give this “comet” any fatalistic ideas and it keeps on its anticipated trajectory. But, with a release this good, I am thinking it may just have another idea to come in closer and gain orbit as it makes it way from behind the sun.
