Just like the title says, Short Stories is a series of creative beats from the German native, Snares. Vincent Semlinger, aka Snares, has been producing a number of high quality, beat-forward focused selections since the 2016 EXPEDITion series contribution, Ghetto Fills. And just like the name says, Snares is focused on the hip hop, boom bastic sounds where the drum kit takes central stage. In August of this year Snares dropped Volume 7 and 8 revealing the next set in the fight for a beautiful step off to fight for that barrel of aural sounds enveloping horns, keys, and other occasional jazzy influences. He has previously released on the El Jazzy Chavo label, Funkypseli Records, from Greece. But this time, it looks like he has gone rogue to present these tracks independently for the broad listening audience.
