It was something like 20 years ago that Christine Moritz first played her “Variety is the Spice of Life” sets in D.C. You would find her spinning those “electronic beats with organic elements” at her Eighteenth Street Lounge residency. It was just the right assortment of auditory tastee bites to connect with her audience as she warmed up the oven for the main course. A soup of sorts.

So sweet and delicious. Standouts come right from the start on “One of A Kind” with its hip piano loop. “Eight Cowards” rolls in a perfect lyrical sample of your Sunday morning Kung Fu master. Fritz is back with another late night chillout on “Noise of Silence”. Then “Rap Combat” wakes your ass up with a perfect Spastiks beat roller. “All Green Lights” tells it like it is letting you know where to find the true source of real hip hop. It’s right here! The Reliable Sauce might just be better as a mole where you get the whole enchilada here.
